Our customer service team is helping schedule AWVs for Medicare members
Our customer service representatives may contact provider offices directly on behalf of new Medicare Advantage members, upon request, to help schedule their Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs).
Background
In November, our Medicare team launched the new Value Based Enrollment incentive program for agents. When enrolling a new-to-Priority Health Medicare Advantage member, agents are encouraged to schedule a New Member Welcome Call. During this 30-minute call soon after enrolling, members will speak with the customer service representatives on our Welcome Team, who will:
- Help members get to know their plans and answer any questions
- Ask members a series of health-related questions to help guide them toward useful resources
- Help them schedule their 2022 AWVs directly with their provider office, upon request
The AWV is covered at 100% under the member’s health plan.
