The phone number to reach our Behavioral Health team is printed on the back of every Priority Health member card. When your patients call, they’ll have the opportunity to talk with a behavioral health customer service intake representative. Through these intake calls, our team helps determine what your patients need, offering:
- Details on how their benefit works, from co-pays to deductibles
- Referrals to in-network behavioral health providers
- Screening questions
By screening for suicidal or homicidal thoughts and substance use, our intake team can ensure your patients get the level of care they need. If they note any concerns in these areas, they’ll introduce them to our Emergency Triage team.
When additional care is needed
When inpatient, partial-hospitalization or rehab programs are the best course of action for your patients, the Licensed Master’s level clinicians on our Emergency Triage team help them understand these different levels of care and give them the resources they need to access these services.
Your patients who are Priority Health members can call our Behavioral Health support team anytime, from wherever they are. You can also call us if you have a patient in your office who needs an immediate evaluation.
