Age limits removed for autism spectrum disorder coverage

We continually monitor the market for regulatory updates and guidance. We’ve removed age limits for autism spectrum disorder services for all plans. This change is retroactive for services on or after Jan. 1, 2022.

Our medical policies as well as authorization guidelines have been updated to reflect this change.
