Reprocessing Medicare inpatient hospital claims submitted between 12/14/22 to 1/25/23
We’re currently reprocessing Medicare inpatient hospital claims submitted between Dec. 14, 2022, and Jan. 25, 2023, which were paid incorrectly due to a vendor error.
There’s no need for you to resubmit claims. You’ll receive a remittance advice with the adjusted claims, which will likely show a reduction from the original payment. You can find details on how we handle payment corrections in our Provider Manual.
We’ve updated our systems to correct the error and are working with our vendor to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
