Now accepting three additional provider types for hospice and home health claims

We're now accepting three additional provider types in the Attending field on hospice and home health claims for our Medicaid members. In addition to Physicians (MD/DO), the following provider types will now be accepted for dates of service on or after Jan. 1, 2022:

• Certified Nurse Practitioners
• Certified Clinical Nurse Specialists
• Physician Assistants

We made this update to align with the latest Medicaid policies outlined in Michigan Medicaid Policy Bulletin 23-06.
